As a former Certified Intern with the State Attorney’s Office and private criminal defense lawyer, Richard O. Hale has extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of Florida’s criminal justice system.
The former college football player is a legal advisor for Hailey’s Hopes and Hugs Foundation, and also enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with his family.
Extensive Criminal Law Experience
Richard O. Hale began his legal career as a Certified Legal Intern with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office, where he learned valuable techniques and gained extensive perspective from the prosecution’s viewpoint of criminal cases. He then took a position as attorney with a prestigious law firm in St. Petersburg, Florida doing both criminal and civil defense. There, he garnered significant experience as a criminal defense attorney. Most recently, Richard O. Hale has decided to take his broad criminal knowledge, and open a criminal defense practice with his wife, Hale & Hale, P.A., where he will handle both criminal defense and personal injury.
